Two-factor authentication (or “2FA”) is a secondary security layer used in addition to your username and password. With 2FA enabled on your account, you will have to provide your password (first “factor”) and your 2FA code (second “factor”) when signing in to your account.
Jubiter uses Google Authenticator to generate 2-factor authentication (2FA) codes. Google Authenticator provides the most secure configuration for 2FA. Google Authenticator does not require a phone reception nor an internet access once set up. It is not associated with your phone number so it is not susceptible to phone number porting attacks.
